A former ’90s child star has revealed he welcomed a second child months after her birth.
David Gallagher, of 7th Heaven fame, recently shared a picture of himself in “#papamode”, hauling a stroller with a baby inside up a flight of stairs and carrying two bags, as his older daughter climbed the stairs next to him.

“When your Dad doesn’t want to wait for the elevator…” he captioned the post.
But his followers were fixated on another detail in the snap.
“Aww there’s a new addition?? Congratulations and happy belated birthday Baby,” commented one follower.
“This is the best way to hard launch a second kid I’ve seen so far. Congratulations,” wrote another fan.

The now 50-year-old shared a new photo, this time properly introducing the new addition to his followers.

“I didn’t know you didn’t know!” he captioned the post.
“Here’s a recent picture of me and my baby girl Fern. She was born in December.”
Gallagher is already a father to seven-year-old Lily.
He previously shared that he took a step back from acting in order to spend time with her.

He told The Sun during his trip to ’90s Con in Connecticut last year, “I’m a stay-at-home dad. I spend most of my time with my six-year-old girl.”
He added that he tends to keep his life private and rarely posts on social media, but has started sharing online more often.
“But I’ve enjoyed coming here and kind of interacting again and seeing everybody and seeing how excited everyone is, [it] is nice. It’s very flattering,” he said at the time.
7th Heaven was a beloved show, airing for 11 seasons from 1996 to 2007.

Gallagher played Simon Camden, one of the Camden children, and was a main character from seasons one through seven, nine, and 10. He was only a recurring character in season eight and did not appear at all in the last season.
The former child actor is also known for his roles as Mikey Ubriacco in Look Who’s Talking Now, Kevin Harper in Angels in the Endzone, Richie Rich in Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish, and Riku in the Kingdom Hearts series.
He currently hosts a podcasts with 7th Heaven co-stars Beverly Mitchell and Mack Rosman, titled Catching up with the Camdens, which sees them revisit episodes and memories of their time on set.
