Hannah Jiles of ‘Love Is Blind Shares
Hannah Jiles, star of Love Is Blind, is obsessed with her glow-up after the show! Not long after season 7 started, the reality star made her weight reduction debut, losing 75 pounds without Ozempic’s assistance.
In a piece that appeared in Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 22, Hannah Jiles, 27, stated, “It’s a lot [about] feeling better about myself and a little bit of revenge.” “I believe I was already on a journey when you watched the show. All of my life, I have battled with my weight. I simply had issues, regardless of how thin or heavy I was. I enjoy eating. I enjoy eating in excess. I dislike going to the gym. Like many others, I put on a lot of weight during COVID. I was just feeling sorry for myself and never took any action.
The West Virginia native opened up about how she realized that she used food “to cope” and how she could change that mindset.
“After the show, I realized a lot of things. I got on anxiety medication, which I think really helped me. I don’t have as much anxiety, so I’m not anxiously eating,” Hannah Jiles said.
The Love Is Blind star also revealed that she had undergone liposuction when she had reached her highest weight of 220 pounds. She also said she began running for exercise and being more mindful of her eating.
“I got down to 175 before the show. And I had gotten liposuction too, maybe a year [or] a year and a half before the show, on my lower abdomen, my back, and my neck, thinking, ‘These are things that I don’t like, let’s change them,’” Hannah Jiles explained to the outlet. “And then after the show, I was like, ‘OK, I do love myself, but I think I could be fitter and healthier. I can be better and feel better.’”
“Weighing yourself, I feel like, is such a thing,” she added. I believe my mother mentioned that her mother gave her a scale for graduating from high school. Once every two weeks, I weigh myself. That is the maximum weight I consider myself to be. That’s just to ensure I stay on track and not straying from it. There have been occasions when I’ve weighed myself every day and had to remind myself that it’s not about the scale or the number. However, you also need to control yourself.
Hannah Jiles previously denied that she had used weight loss drugs like Ozempic to help her achieve weight loss. Instead, she relied on things like “portion control.”
“I didn’t actually reduce my food intake. I’ve tried crash diets before. For me, they don’t work. I’ll be fine if I just eat what I usually eat [but] in fewer amounts. Protein is what I try to eat. I eat a lot of fish at home since I find preparing meat repulsive,” Hannah Jiles remarked. “It’s simpler. I make an effort to consume some veggies and meats. Fortunately, I’m not a finicky eater. However, I will have french fries for dinner if that’s what I want. I simply balance it out.
