Listen, I get it, when you finally snag a real catch, you might be hesitant to share your precious little love bubble with the world. But after over a year of letting rumors confirm your relationship is sort of obviously a legit thing, it’s probably time (read: long overdue) for Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner to pull trig on a legit hard launch, no? I get it, they sat next to each other at the 2024 Golden Globes Award Show and shared a chaste kiss during the commercial break that the thirsty public was titillated to get a peek at. But, as Monique once growled, say their names, or keep it on the playground. Meaning, unless you’re standing side by side in $100K worth of couture, you are not officially a Hollywood it couple, IMO.
Before I get into Timmy and Kylie’s Globes mini moment (because yes, I have several thoughts), it’s probably worth acknowledging the huge achievement that landed the couple front and center at tonight’s award show in the first place. Timothée is having a mega year for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, directed by James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Logan, Walk The Line). TimTim not only brought Bob to the big screen with his words but actually dared to sing every song on camera live which James Mangold said gave the rest of the cast and crew “the chills.” So three cheers for Mr. Chalamet’s hard-earned Oscar run. You betcha! Kylie and Timmy are apparently still hot and heavy, even though they simply refuse to hard launch on the red carpet for some reason. When the camera cut to Kylie’s man to commend him for his A Complete Unknown nom, Kylie was there, clapping like a supportive GF in a backless sparkly gown. She looked perfectly comfortable rubbing elbows with Timothée’s co-star and pal, Elle Fanning.

Later in the night, the commercial break cam caught a (dare I say) cute moment between the couple, when Kylie took a candid photo of her man. I’d love to get my eyes on whatever a Kylie Jenner scrapbook entails.

Ugh, no, Kylie and Timmy were sat next to each other inside at the event but opted to skip the red carpet as a couple. I guess their fans will have to hope, wish, and pray for the first Monday in May (AKA the Met Gala) to be different since that’s an event the Kardashians surely won’t skip.
