Power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds continue to showcase their enduring romance and good-natured humor. On Sunday, Lively shared an adorable Instagram post admiring her “skater boy” husband Reynolds.
The 36-year-old actress posted a photo of a smiling Reynolds dressed in a jacket, beanie, and sunglasses. He holds a skateboard under his arm, prompting Lively to jokingly caption the post: “@AvrilLavigne dreams do come true.
Her caption refers to Lavigne’s hit 2002 pop-punk anthem “Sk8er Boi” and its famous lyrics: “He was a boy, she was a girl. Can I make it any more obvious?” Lively’s post suggests Reynolds is the skater boy of her dreams.
The playful social media display offers a glimpse into one of Hollywood’s most beloved and seemingly down-to-earth celebrity couples. Lively and Reynolds married in 2012 after meeting on the set of Green Lantern. They are parents to three daughters.

Reynolds reciprocated in a Humans of New York interview, stating Lively “makes everything better. She’s one of those people who somehow retain normalcy and grounds you.” He called their home life “warm and loving.”
The Couple Prioritizes Their Personal Life
Lively revealed she and Reynolds abide by one key rule: not working at the same time. She told EW: “When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule not to work at the same time. So we could always prioritize our personal life.”
This explains why fans rarely see the two stars in films together. They want to focus on their relationship rather than their careers.
Lively was promoting her new thriller The Rhythm Section while Reynolds hyped Free Guy and Red Notice. The stars stagger projects to devote quality time as a family.
