Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris have paused their divorce proceedings more than two weeks after the YouTuber filed for divorce from her husband. According to a filing obtained by E! News, the estranged couple has been granted a motion to halt their court proceedings.
A Salt Lake County District Court Judge granted the motion for a stay on April 17th, “pending the outcome of settlement negotiations.” E! News has contacted the attorneys for Aspyn and Parker but has not yet received a response.
Aspyn, 28, initially filed for divorce from Parker on April 1st – the same day she announced the couple had welcomed their third child, a daughter whose name has not been shared publicly. In addition to their newborn, Aspyn and Parker are also parents to daughters Cove, 4, and Lola, 2.
While neither Aspyn nor Parker has publicly commented on their split, the YouTuber has continued to share videos on social media featuring her estranged husband. This includes a TikTok detailing a family date to a local Utah soda shop and another video of Parker filming, captioned, “Coming out of retirement to film his morning routine today. Although Aspyn has remained quiet about her marriage, she has been open about her postpartum recovery journey. In a social media post on April 30th, she told followers, “Out of my three pregnancies, this postpartum process has been the easiest. It’s been probably my easiest postpartum, even just in terms of bleeding and postpartum care and all of that stuff. Feeling pretty good.”
The mom of three also shared an update on her newest addition, saying, “Baby’s doing well. She was sleeping so well. Three nights ago, she slept through the night, which was too early for her to do that. But she just like did, and then the last two nights, she’s been waking up more, but then I’ll try to feed her, and she doesn’t want to eat. She’s just like fussing for nothing, so I’m like, ‘I don’t know what to do.’ She’s a bit different than my other two babies, so she is humbling me a little bit, but she is a sweet baby.”
As Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris navigate this new chapter, they seem committed to co-parenting their three children while exploring the possibility of reconciliation.
