Alan Cumming always appears to remain unbiased on The Traitors. But deep down, Alan has some hopes for future seasons. In particular, he’d like to see Martha Stewart join future casts.
While Alan can follow the script on The Traitors, he absolutely has opinions on the players. In Season 3, he referred to one cast member as “naughty” (you’ll never guess who).
For now, The Traitors Season 3 goes on with its current group of talent. And if Alan is right, we can look forward to a historic season finale. But Alan already has his hopes set when it comes to future seasons.
Alan Cumming looks back on his time with Martha Stewart
In a recent interview with E! News, Alan revealed the one celebrity he would like to see on The Traitors. “I just want Martha Stewart,” he said. “I mean, is that too much to ask? I just think she would be – I love Martha, number one. I’ve known her over the years. I’ve been on her show.”
The interviewer asked Alan if he had seen the 2024 documentary, Martha. “Of course, loved that documentary,” he said. Alan also revealed, “She taught me how to make quesadillas.” No shade, I’m not a good cook, but how much guidance does a person need when it comes to quesadillas?
Alan then told the story of how he made a Christmas wreath with Martha. Alan recalled that he was placing vanilla pods on the wreath while Martha tried to interview him at the same time. “She went, ‘Oh, you put them too far apart.’ And I said, ‘Oh, I’ve let you down, Martha.’ And she went, ‘You’ve let yourself down.’”
Of course, even if Martha did join Alan on The Traitors, Alan still wouldn’t break character. The man is acting his socks off on the show.
