You know what, I’m a bit of a Lianne Moriarty girl when it comes to splashy book empires, but, hey, there’s room for everyone around the reading table. Colleen Hoover turned her massive standom into a massive movie moment through her first book-to-movie adaptation, It Ends With Us. The attention on her big screen debut was also greatly helped by the fact that the movie spiraled into a massive scandal/legal battle/publicity nightmare, but that’s (hopefully) not a repeatable formula. Regardless, the head honchos in Hollywood have greenlit several Collen Hoover joints (sorry, fellow film heads, too far). I think we all need to be aware of them for, like, national security reasons (again, a joke!). Here are all the Colleen Hoover books being turned into movies so you can binge-read them on the beach this summer and be better than everyone else.
Regretting You

Scott Eastwood, Allison Williams, and Dave Franco are starring in the novel-turned-movie that People reports will hit theatres on October 24, 2025. Regretting You is about a mom, Morgan, and her daughter, Clara (played by McKenna Grace), who have “warring personalities and conflicting goals.” Their coming-of-age battle is only made worse when Clara’s dad, Chris, gets involved in a tragic but mysterious accident that changes everything. Uh-oh, secrets, resentment, and rivalries all in one family? Sounds like a good time.
Verity

Colleen’s most popular book, Verity, is about a struggling author who gets an offer she can’t refuse: ghostwriting the final book in a blockbuster series by a world-famous writer named Verity Crawford. From there, shit goes left when Lowen (the struggling writer played by Dakota Johnson) uncovers more than she bargained for about Verity (played by Anne Hathaway) and the death of Verity’s daughter that she has to hide from her hubby (played by the extremely yummy and scary Josh Hartnett). The movie began filming in February 2025 and does not have a release date yet.
Reminders Of Him

Maika Monroe is set to star as Kenna Rowan in the adaptation to be released on February 13, 2026. In this novel, tragedy strikes yet again when Kenna goes to prison for a mistake, spending four torturous years away from her daughter. Kenna has to right her wrongs from the past to get back into her daughter’s life, and a (presumably) sexy bartender whose name is Ledger Ward, naturally, is going to help her do it in their spooky small town.
