Even though Temptation Island has recently been getting its moment in the sun thanks to Montoya shaking shit up in Spain, some of us have been binging this tropical trash TV for years since it was on USA, okay? That’s why I can confidently say that Grant is one of the worst Temptation Island villains ever. Not because he folded within mere days of being away from the girl he claimed he wanted to marry, but because of the level of delusion it took to believe that he was actually “fighting for” Ashley while seeking the tiniest flaws in her behavior to justify his “release” was truly unheard of. (At least, it was until Brion had a “no regrets” threesome and also expected his “good woman” to be understanding of it.)
At the end of the season, Grant (with a straight face) told Ashley in his video message that he had “only focused on her feelings” by “neglecting his own” and so he was “heartbroken” about how she’d spoken about him to other dudes in the house — after cheating on her multiple times ON CAMERA!!! Even the host, Mark, had to tell Grant he was being delulu if he thought he did anything to prove he wasn’t a cheater anymore (yep, he had already cheated on Ashley prior to the island, which is why they were there).
So, with Grant’s dog behavior doing my head in, I had to find out ASAP: are Grant and Ashley still together? Ashley, girl, don’t make me get on a plane to Florida rn…
Are Grant and Ashley still together after Temptation Island?
In his video message, Grant graciously “forgave Ashley” (???) after he slept with Natalie multiple times on the show despite their boundary being touching anyone else. But at the final bonfire, Ashley wasn’t having his shenanigans anymore. After refusing to send him a video back, she stood on business during the finale by ditching Grant, thank GOD. Ashley chose to leave the island with Danny, while Grant left solo because he actually thought Ashley was going to want him back and couldn’t help but screw one more woman (Natalie) on the way out. But their story sadly doesn’t end there…
Did Grant and Ashley get back together?
Unfortunately, I do have some bad news: Grant and Ashley reconciled months after the show, but thankfully it was only temporary! Ashley told Netflix she bumped into Grant (after Grant kept trying to go places he thought he’d see her, like a creep). Grant pulled the same OTT love bombing that won Ashley back in Greece at the beginning of their relationship, and she actually gave him a shot. Until “it all went downhill” when Ashley found out Grant was actually in an exclusive relationship with Natalie so she had accidentally helped her cheater cheat again. Damn.
Are Ashley and Danny still together?
Ashley and Danny both decided to stay single not long after leaving the island. Danny says they had a connection but the long-distance wasn’t going to work in the long run. Ashley is “isn’t opposed to dating, but it’s not a priority,” so she’s happy to stay just friends with Danny.
Is Grant single after Temptation Island?
Finally, some good news: Grant is “single” and “working on himself” after his memorable vacation in the dog house. The man is a father (only literally) so hopefully he can use what he learns to set a better example of how women should be treated. Though I’m not exactly holding my breath since Grant seems as imaginative as ever when he told Netflix that hooking up with Natalie “was kind of [his] way of letting go” to force himself to get over Ashley, not an intended betrayal. Sure, dude.
