In an interview for April’s issue of GQ, the star also dished on their co-parenting dynamics with their three kids — Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. Affleck expressed being “really lucky” to have a good co-parenting relationship with Garner. These revelations come weeks after the two enjoyed a family paintball outing in Los Angeles.

Ben Affleck has only positive things to say about his relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. While speaking to GQ, the actor shed some light on his dynamics with his former partner. The star noted that he’s lucky to have found a “really good co-parent and partner” in Garner. Further praising his ex, Affleck continued, “The kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”
The director further recalled the system he and Garner would follow if their kids witnessed stories about their parents on supermarket stands. The former couple would then tell their kids, “You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant.”
