The 2025 Oscar Awards were filled with several jaw-dropping moments, including Zoe Saldaña winning her first-ever award and Anora taking home the coveted title of Best Picture. However, none of those moments hold a candle to what went on behind the scenes with everyone’s favorite celebrity couples. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell made an appearance
Everyone’s favorite unmarried couple, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, decided to walk the red carpet together on Sunday night, making it one of the few times they have stepped out in public together. The actress chose to wear a stunning butter-yellow gown, with her partner opting to play it safe in a plain black tuxedo.
Hawn (79) won an Oscar in 1970, but Russell (73) has never been nominated. The couple has been together since 1983 and has never gotten married.
Kylie Jenner stepped out to support her beau
Since reality TV star and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner has attended every other award show this season with her new beau, Timothée Chalamet, it only makes sense that she was there on cinema’s biggest night.
The two sat front row–with the actor wearing a butter-yellow suit and the mom opting for a sparkly black ball gown—and were often found engaging in some sort of public display of affection.
It is believed that Jenner and Chalamet began dating in January 2023, following her split with Travis Scott, whom she shares two kids with.
Kieran Culkin hinted at baby number three and four
After winning Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Real Pain, Kieran Culkin, 42, decided to spend his speech time joking about his wife Jazz Charton and their two kids.
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this, and I very stupidly, publicly, said that I want a third kid from her [Charton] because she said if I won the award, I would, she would give me the kid,” Culkin said in reference to his January 2024 Emmys speech. “After the show, we’re walking through a parking lot, she’s holding the Emmy, we’re trying to find our car … and she goes, ‘Oh god, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.’ And I turned to her, and I said, ‘Really, I want four.’
And she turned to me—I swear to god this happened, it was just over a year ago—she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’”
The actor ended his speech by letting his wife know that “No pressure” and that he loved her and wanted to “get cracking on those kids.”
Culkin and Charton have been together since 2013 and welcomed their second child together in 2021.
Adrien Brody revealed what his girlfriend’s kids call him
During the show, actor Adrien Brody accepted the award for Best Actor, which he won for his work in The Brutalist. It was his second win, and during his speech, Brody took the time to thank his girlfriend Georgina Chapman and her two kids that she shares with her ex-husband Harvey Weinstein.
According to Brody, Chapman “reinvigorated my own self-worth but also my values and our values” and even went as far as to tell her that her two kids—India (14) and Dashiell (11)—are “beautiful children” who call him “Popsy.”
Chapman does share her kids with Weinstein, who was found guilty of sexual assault, rape and forcible oral copulation in 2022. He is serving a 16-year sentence in a Los Angeles prison facility and is banned from the Oscars for life.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos stepped out together
Talk show hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos decided to make Oscar night date night, with her walking the red carpet in orange and him in black.
This appearance comes after the couple teased a “grey divorce” in October 2024, saying ““Like, it sounds like something amazing, and then you realize, ‘Oh, this is very dark subject matter.’ But the voice of the narrator is so soothing.”
It is unclear if the couple ever actually did split up, but since then they have been seen out and about together quite a few times.
Ripa and Consuelos have been married since 1996 and have three kids together.
