Bethenny Frankel is making headlines once again. Things don’t always go as planned for the former Real Housewives of New York star. Her latest incident at Nasdaq proved just as much.
New York’s own has been up to quite a lot lately. There are the absolutely nuts takes that she shares on TikTok from time to time. Then there’s the time she spends with her new boyfriend.
But most notably, Bethenny is deep into some charity work. Her charity, BStrong, and the Global Empowerment Mission, recently teamed up to provide aid to victims of the LA wildfires. These charitable efforts prompted an invitation to host the Nasdaq’s bell-ringing ceremony.
Bethenny Frankel laughs off her wardrobe malfunction
On January 16, Bethenny was invited to ring the Nasdaq bell to symbolize the market’s opening. But things took a turn when her dress’ buttons kept popping open. Nevertheless, Bethenny maintained a positive attitude. She shared a TikTok where she couldn’t help but laugh at the mishap.
In a separate TikTok, on her way to the bell ringing, she broke down the situation. “Well, in typical Bethenny fashion, nothing can ever be what it was planned to be,” she said. “So, in doing the opening bell for Nasdaq today, we’re gonna be doing the opening dress for Nasdaq as well.”
“These buttons are snaps. They keep popping open.” Bethenny brought double-sided tape and a blanket along, but explained, “I have no backup dress.”
She continued, “I just think that like, when I’m standing, it will be kind of okay. I just gotta get through that couple of minutes. But I’m not only popping tags, I’m popping buttons. It’s the opening button of the Nasdaq today.” She ended the TikTok by saying, “Can it ever just be like, you’re a professional?”
