Earlier this week, a source confirmed that the 60-year-old television personality, chef and author was linked to fellow culinary superstar Brooke Williamson, winner of season 14 of Top Chef and Flay’s costar on his show, Bobby’s Triple Threat. Bobby Flay has long been a fixture in the culinary world, specifically, on the TV scene on the Food Network. The New York-born and raised food icon has opened countless restaurants over the years all over the world and has shared his wealth of knowledge and never-ending index of recipes with fans in the dozens of cookbooks he’s authored. Who is Brooke Williamson?
Brooke Williamson was forging her career in the food industry for quite some time before she came out victorious on the fourteenth season of Top Chef. After her win, she continued appearing in the food television sphere. Her latest endeavor has been alongside Bobby Flay on Bobby’s Triple Threat. On the series, she, alongside Ayesha Nurdjaja (who just replaced Tiffany Derry) and Michael Voltaggio, goes up against an elite chef.
Sparks fly between Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson
Flay and Williamson have known each other for quite some time, and a source recently revealed to People that the duo were exploring romance. “They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in,” reported the outlet. “Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.” Last year, Williamson finalized her divorce from her husband, whom she separated from back in 2022. Flay, on the other hand, has had three marriages, his most recent with actress Stephanie March, ending in 2015.
Bobby Flay’s former flames
Before his romance with Williamson, Bobby Flay was married three times. The chef married his first wife, Debra Ponzek, back in 1991. She too was an accomplished chef, and the two were even nominated for the James Beard Foundation Award for Rising Star Chef in the same year. The couple called it quits in 1993 and in 1995, Flay married Kate Connelly. Bobby and Kate had a daughter together, Sophie, but they went their separate ways in 1998. His most recent marriage was to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress Stephanie March from 2005 to 2015.
As for whether or not Flay wants to get married again, the television personality recently revealed to Kristin Cavallari that he didn’t think it was in the cards for him. “I have an amazing daughter who is 28 years old,” he said on the Let’s Be Honest podcast. “I’m not having any more kids as far as I know. I would be interested in a life partner for sure. But I don’t think it necessarily needs the documentation.”
