“Haters want to say that I don’t know how to cook,” Awkwafina said in a clip posted to her social media.
“And for Lunar New Year I’m gonna make you my special, little sweetheart fried rice.”
She went on to chaotically share her recipe for fried rice, at one point accidentally throwing half of the contents of the pan onto the stove top.
“Happy Lunar New Year to everybody at home,” she said after completing the meal.
“Thank you for your contributions to making it Lunar, and here’s to fried rice.”
