On January 2, Us Weekly confirmed that Abasolo had filed for divorce from the former Bachelorette and requested spousal support.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Abasolo explained, “If you’ve been following me, you know I don’t like to share personal matters on social media. However, Rachel and I have decided to separate after over four years of marriage. This was not an easy choice, but we’ve chosen to start new chapters in our lives.”
Rachel and Bryan first met during The Bachelorette season 13 in 2017, got engaged at the show’s end, and tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico in August 2019.
