Another day, another Chrisley family crisis. This time, it’s Chase Chrisley, and he’s starting 2025 by getting wrapped up in some legal troubles. It’s almost like that runs in the family.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum has been named as a suspect for a simple assault. Allegedly, he put his hands on a restaurant manager after getting too rowdy during the dinner dush.
A simple assault might complicate Chase Chrisley’s New Year
Let’s set the scene. According to TMZ, this drama all happened around this past Monday at Twin Peaks Sports Bar in Atlanta. If you’re not familiar with Twin Peaks, it’s basically like a Hooters with a mountain lodge theme. They’re known for food, sports, and scantily clad waitresses.
The general manager called 911 around 7:30 pm, reporting that Chase was “really drunk” and” being disrespectful and belligerent.” If someone is that drunk at 7:30, you have to wonder what time they got started.
According to the police report, the Twin Peaks manager asked Chase to leave because of his disruptive behavior, and that’s when things escalated. Chase allegedly slapped the manager in the face not once, but twice.
It’s worth noting that the manager didn’t sustain any injuries from this slap, but by the time the cops arrived, Chase fled the scene. However, the manager said that one of the employees recognized him and said he was a “well-known celebrity.”
Calling Chase a “well-known celebrity” might be a stretch, but either way, the cops named him as a suspect for simple assault. They need to make sure this “celebrity” knows that you can’t just run around slapping people.
Chase’s reps didn’t respond for comment, but this is just the latest case for the Chrisley family lawyer. Of course, Chase’s parents are behind bars for their role in a tax evasion scheme, but his siblings are fighting a lawsuit over a car crash. Keeping up with the Chrisleys could be a full-time job.
