Cynthia Bailey officially snatched back her peach, kind of. She is appearing as a friend of the cast in Season 16 of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Though he has not appeared yet, her new man, LePrince, might also materialize at some point this season. Cynthia and her new boyfriend have been together for a year now. She has cheekily mentioned this fun update in the press recently, sadly leaving zero crumbs about who this man might be.
But who is LePrince? How will Cynthia introduce her new boyfriend to the fans on RHOA? Is Cynthia officially divorced from Mike Hill?
Cue TMZ, who just caught Cynthia and LePrince at the airport. Now, we know who her new beau is. Airports are a got-you trap for celebrities, although sneaky captures are sometimes also staged. Either way, the tea spilled, and fans are thrilled for Cynthia.
Who is Cynthia Bailey’s new boyfriend LePrince?
As he described himself to TMZ, LePrince is a DJ and singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. According to his website, LePrince was born in 1986. As a child, traditional Surinamese music made an impression on LePrince, who sang in a Kawina, Kaseko Group. As LePrince aged into his teens, he started making music while participating in various youth programs around town, further perfecting his craft.
LePrince played his first gig at the Kwaku Festival in Amsterdam, singing Surinamese music. But then, he fell into sticky patterns, which eventually led LePrince to the teachings of Rastafari. Cue his rebrand, where LePrince started belting out Reggae music to help “promote the principles and ways of life” he received from the teachings via his band, Liberty Sound.
Liberty Sound traveled all around Holland before LePrince embarked on his solo journey. Here, LePrince centered his music around reggae, adding touches of electronic beats into his mixes. In 2008, LePrince placed second in the Amsterdam City Games Competition. In 2010, he won first place in an HIV Campaign, which taught youths about HIV through music.
LePrince also won the Best R.O.C. artist for R.O.C. Central Netherlands. Whatever he does, LePrince lives by the motto that “Music is All About Life, And My Life Is All About Music” (and also now Cynthia).
Cynthia Bailey’s new boyfriend LePrince is from Amsterdam
When TMZ spotted Cynthia with a mystery man at LAX in California, they wasted no time approaching the pair, shooting their shots with a question or two about his identity. They knew what they were doing. Cynthia has been keeping coy in the media about who her new boyfriend was, so their one assignment was clear. Thankfully, Cynthia obliged, and now we know more about her new boyfriend.
“Is this the mysterious younger man?” the camera operator from TMZ asked, joking, “This dude is tall!” In the background, LePrince ducks into the restroom, leaving Cynthia alone to fend off the paps. Keeping her smile affixed, Cynthia agreed, saying, “He is tall.” When prompted about their pairing, Cynthia declared, “It’s going good. I’m good.”
Next, TMZ inquired about what her mystery fellow does for a living. Cynthia then explained that he is a musician and singer “from Amsterdam.” As if on cue, LePrince rolls up, also taking their questions on the chin, like a professional. He has a new single coming out March 12, LePrince noted, and you can find information on this drop via his website, linked just above.
Cynthia also spoke with People about LePrince, saying, “I’ve been dating talented Amsterdam-based Reggatronic Hard Dance musician LePrince for nearly a year. We’ve chosen to keep our relationship off social media to [better] focus on each other without outside distractions. We’ve traveled a lot together, including my trips to Amsterdam and Switzerland to see him perform. We’re happy and excited to see where our relationship goes!”
Is Cynthia Bailey still married?

Before LePrince, Cynthia was married to Peter Thomas. Peter and Cynthia enjoyed(ish) seven years of marriage before calling it quits in 2017. Peter is now dating the legal system. Pay your taxes, kids.
After Peter, Cynthia moved on with Mike Hill. In 2020, Cynthia and Mike tied the knot on Bravo, welcoming fans of RHOA into their lavish ceremony at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia. Cynthia and Mike had 250 guests in attendance. They also had several hundred thousand fans watching from their couches at home, so zero pressure, right?
Except pressure entered the room quickly. Cynthia and Mike announced their separation in October 2022, following only two years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in December 2022, keeping things sweet and simple, unlike other divorces that drag on for years.
As for the reason behind their split, Cynthia and Mike stopped being friends. “I think friendship just has to be there in a marriage. Love is great, but friendship has to be there. I truly want to be with my best friend,” Cynthia stressed, explaining that even still, she will always carry respect for Mike.
We are sure LePrince does as well. One man’s loss is another man’s treasure. Cheers, Cynthia and LePrince.
