‘Deli Boys’ trailer sees Pakistani American brothers uncovering their dad’s secret life

How much do you actually know about your parents? Would you believe them if they happened to have a secret life of crime they hid your entire life, living under the guise of a successful bodega owner?

That’s exactly what happens in Deli Boys, created by Abdullah Saeed and produced by Disney’s Onyx Collective, with Dollface‘s Michelle Nader as showrunner.

In the upcoming 10-episode series, rich and spoiled Pakistani American brothers Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj (Saagar Shaikh) are dealing with the sudden death of their father mainly by debating who gets what. But he wasn’t the convenience store king they thought he was; Dad was an underworld criminal running a very different kind of family business. Not the inheritance they wanted, but the inheritance they’ve got.

Never Have I Ever‘s Poorna Jagannathan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Alfie Fuller, and Seinfeld legend Brian George also star, and from the looks of the trailer, the show looks like a lot of fun.

Deli Boys is streaming on Hulu and Disney+ from March 6.
