It looks like Jesse Solomon won’t have a sophomore slump and will really put in an effort in season 2 of Summer House. You can breathe a sigh of relief now. To be honest, Jesse came back to the Hamptons with a lot of energy, which I would now describe as “a lot.” Most of that energy is directed at the women in the house. In the first few shows, Jesse has been all over Lexi Wood, who is new to the show. But I need to know the answer to one simple question before I can fully believe Lexi has been picked to be Jesse’s next artistic inspiration: Is Jesse and Ciara seeing each other? I understand that she dated and scolded his best friend before, but does that mean I shouldn’t notice the sideways glances and big hugs from across the pool chairs? If you think Bed Bug #2 would betray Bravo’s most thirsty boy, you might just be dreaming. But just in case, I’m looking into the Summer House rumors that Jesse Solomon and Ciara are dating.

Even though the verdict is still out, the flirty signs point in a certain direction. Jesse and Ciara have seemed a little too close from the first weekend in the house, even when compared to how over-the-top Jesse is with the other women (even Kyle yelled “stop Jesse” at the beach, FFS). You might ask, “What is my proof?” This might not hold up in court, but the fact that Jesse went back for an extra hug in the season premiere, Ciara touched Jesse on the bicep and thigh without meaning to in episode 2, and Jesse went out of his way at the beach in episode 4 to yell, “I want to sit next to Ciara!” when Lexi was right there made my spider senses start to tingle.
But things get really hot in episode 5, so much so that the directors record the stress. When Jesse wants to talk about how “fast” things are going with Lexi, he has been talking to all of his female best friends. Lexi wants Jesse to make her and her alone feel important in the house. The moment Paige asks Jesse to get her bag, Jesse takes the chance to talk to Ciara alone about Lexi. Now, why did it feel like a typical “I’m telling my crush about my other crush to make them jealous” scene? IYKYK.
When they are alone, Jesse tells Ciara that he loves her breasts (k!). Ciara massages Jesse’s shoulders and tells him how much she loves what a “guy” he is… hmm. Jesse jokes that he wants to know if Ciara likes him. Ciara tells Jesse no, but she tells the producers she’s “never thought about Jesse in that way.” She also says she “likes stupid boys” and enjoys how “stupid everything is” when they’re laughing together. Wow, girl, I agree that Ciara is her own worst enemy. Going out with Jesse, on the other hand, is the kind of chaos I’d have to stan.

Someone asked Ciara, “Would you and Jesse Solomon ever get involved?” during a talk at Fan Fest in 2024. when Ciara said she was done with “dirty” guys like West (oh, how I hope, wish, and pray this is true). Ciara didn’t really say “no,” but she kind of did. She said there was “enough speculation,” but she couldn’t “do another house romance” because she was “tired and needs a break,” even though she “loves Jesse and thinks he’s great.” That sounds like a no-thank-you on paper, but the way she was laughing and blaming the rejection on something other than how she felt about the man shows that it wasn’t. In the end, Ciara told Jesse he was a “trainable” 8/10 instead of a trash bag, which in her mind is like writing a love letter.
