In a recent appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast with Alex Baskin, Dorinda opened up about her post-RHONY friendships. While she maintains close ties with some of the ladies, her bond with Sonja Morgan seems to have faded, much to the dismay of longtime fans.
Dorinda Still Talks to Ramona and Luann
Dorinda revealed that she keeps in touch with her former castmates Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps, despite their tumultuous history on RHONY. Dorinda credits their decades-long friendships for helping them overcome past feuds.
“I can’t let a show break our relationship,” Dorinda explained, referring to her ups and downs with Ramona. She noted that stepping away from the show allowed their friendships to heal and flourish.
The trio’s enduring bond serves as a reminder of the deep connections formed during their years on RHONY.
Sonja Morgan Has Gone Silent
However, when it comes to Sonja Morgan, Dorinda admitted that their friendship isn’t what it used to be.
“I don’t talk to Sonja so much, but I think Sonja doesn’t really talk to a lot of us so much,” Dorinda shared during the podcast.
According to Dorinda, Sonja tends to retreat into her own world and has never been great at keeping in touch.
“She’s still bad at responding to texts from her co-stars, which I think is odd,” Dorinda added.
Dorinda also acknowledged that the RHONY OGs no longer live just blocks apart, making it harder to maintain their once-close-knit dynamic. While time and distance have changed their relationships, the lack of communication marks the end of an era for fans who loved the duo’s on-screen chemistry.
