In a revealing conversation with Bozoma Saint John during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Dorit Kemsley didn’t hold back. She went on a candid rant about her co-star, Sutton Stracke, accusing her of using “every kind of deflection possible” to avoid conflict—something Dorit says she’s “tired of.” From Sutton’s “insane reactions” to conflict to her tendency to “storm out” or “not show up,” Dorit minced no words. As she put it bluntly, “Bitch, if you can dish it, you better f–king be able to take it.”

Dorit Kemsley’s frustration didn’t stop there. When Boz asked why no one else seemed to be tired of Sutton’s antics, Dorit dropped a bombshell accusation. With a dramatic pause, she said, “I’m going to say something very, very controversial,” before adding, “Sutton, she wants to buy her friendships.”
Dorit’s claim centered on the rocky relationship between Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais, which seemed to have shifted over the course of the season. According to Dorit, Garcelle “did not like Sutton at all” when they first joined the group. However, Sutton wasn’t ready to take no for an answer. Despite Garcelle’s initial reservations, Sutton allegedly went to great lengths to secure her affection.
Dorit revealed that Sutton “was not having it” when it came to Garcelle not warming up to her. In fact, Sutton reportedly went as far as buying a $25,000 table at a fundraiser that Garcelle hosted, purely to get in her good graces. As Dorit explained, “Sutton counts on her wallet to get what she wants, rather than using [her heart].”

And it seems Sutton’s strategy worked, at least for a while. “And then Garcelle was at Sutton’s for New Year’s Eve not too long after. And they became friends,” Dorit added, further cementing her claim that Sutton uses financial gestures to forge relationships.
When Boz jokingly quipped that Sutton “didn’t spend enough” on the St. Lucia cast trip to earn herself a free pass, Dorit responded with a knowing laugh: “When she has to, she will.”
The tension between Dorit and Sutton reached a boiling point during Episode 16 of RHOBH Season 14, when the two women clashed aboard a yacht in St. Lucia. During this heated confrontation, Dorit asked Sutton if she wanted to “move forward” in their friendship. Sutton, unphased, gave a decisive response: “No, I’m good right now… I wanna be on ice with you.”
Though Sutton later admitted in the RHOBH Season 14 finale that if she could change anything, it would be how she handled her friendship with Dorit, it was clear that the relationship remained strained. In fact, Sutton’s episode-ending update card noted that their friendship “remains on ice.”
The Season 14 Reunion: A Chance for Resolution?
With the RHOBH Season 14 reunion fast approaching, Dorit and Sutton are preparing for another chance to air their grievances. In the After Show, both women expressed their hopes for the upcoming reunion.
Sutton stated that her goal was to “come to a place of calm” with Dorit. “I don’t want an apology. I’m not gonna give an apology,” she explained, clarifying that she didn’t need Dorit to be her friend but hoped for some peace. “But I need for her to just stop coming at me. I don’t think it’s healthy for the group to have this constant beating up of someone. You don’t have to like me, just stop beating up on me.”
On the other hand, Dorit expressed that she wasn’t “activated” or looking to “tear someone’s eyeballs out.” However, she made it clear that she wanted honesty in order to find resolution. “I think for real resolve, there has to be honesty, there has to be an acknowledgement that there are two sets of rules at times, there’s some hypocrisy. And I think there are things that need to be put on the table.”
As the reunion looms, it’s clear that Dorit and Sutton’s fraught relationship isn’t going anywhere soon. Whether they’ll reach a resolution—or continue to clash—remains to be seen.
