The seventh season of Love is Blind aired its first six episodes on October 2, 2024. This season introduced 14 single men and 15 single women searching for love. Inside the pods, participants interact through a wall, without seeing each other, aiming to build emotional connections. They are isolated from the outside world, and their only focus is finding a potential life partner.
Leo Introduction and Initial Connections
Among the men, one contestant named Leo caught attention early on. During introductions in the lounge, Leo joked that if he and another man liked the same woman, one of them should “back off.” This comment sparked curiosity and hinted at the competition that would follow.
As days passed, Leo began building strong connections with two women: Hannah and Brittany. Both women started developing feelings for him. It seemed like Leo was genuinely interested in both, but trouble started brewing when Hannah noticed a pattern. She realized Leo was saying the same things to Brittany that he had said to her.
Hannah Confronts Leo
Feeling betrayed, Hannah confronted Leo about his intentions. Caught in the situation, Leo confessed that he liked both women and needed more time to decide. This response made Hannah question Leo’s sincerity. It also pushed her to explore a deeper connection with Nick, a contestant who had shown consistent interest in her.
When Hannah later told Leo she had chosen Nick, Leo became very upset. He argued that she had made the wrong decision and urged her to reconsider. He expressed his feelings in an emotional outburst, stating, “You are special enough for me to tear my hair out all day. I wanted to talk to you first, but you made the decision without us getting a chance to sort it out.”
Despite Leo’s emotional plea, Hannah stood firm. She tells Leo that Nick is sure about her from the beginning, unlike Leo, who couldn’t commit even though he claimed to love her.
Hannah Warns Brittany
After her conversation with Leo, Hannah decided to talk to Brittany. She felt it was necessary to warn her about Leo’s behaviour. Hannah shared her experience and mentioned how Leo’s actions seemed manipulative. She explained how Leo told her one thing but then quickly shifted his promises to Brittany.
Brittany was surprised to hear all of this. Just the night before, Leo told Hannah he still wanted to be with her. But now, he claimed he was ready to propose to Brittany. This inconsistency raised doubts in Brittany’s mind. However, Leo tries to fix the situation by asking Hannah to say good things about him to Brittany.
Hannah refused to do so. She felt Leo was dishonest and did not want Brittany to get hurt. Later, as the show progressed, Leo and Brittany ended their connection. This breakup was confirmed at the end of episode 5, right before the couples were set to go on their honeymoons.
Leo Reflects on His Actions
After the show aired, Leo gave an interview to People magazine on October 3, in which he reflected on his behavior and admitted he could have managed the situation better.
“I definitely lost my cool. I wish I could have handled it with a bit more grace. But at the same time, I was really vulnerable. It’s not something I’m used to doing,” Leo shared.
Leo explained that he isn’t usually like this but acknowledged that the pressure in the pods made him act differently. He also mentioned that his interactions with Hannah helped him open up more emotionally, which was a new experience for him,
Hannah’s Perspective
Hannah also spoke about her experience during an interview. She shared that the situation became complicated and confusing for her. She never wanted to get in between Leo and Brittany. However, seeing Leo’s reaction made her question his intentions.
“It was just a very confusing situation because I knew he was dating Brittany, and I decided to choose Nick. If you say that you have this great connection with Brittany, it shouldn’t be a problem. So I think I was shocked. I was just like, whoa. I just wasn’t expecting that,” Hannah recalled.
In the end, Hannah stood by her decision to choose Nick. Brittany, after hearing everything, also decided to walk away from Leo, ending the triangle. As the season continues, fans are eager to see how these relationships will evolve and what new drama will unfold in the upcoming episodes,
