EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders star Jonny Freeman is being tipped for an exit as Reiss Colwell.
Freeman has played the killer since 2022, though will reportedly be departing the BBC soap in upcoming scenes, according to the Daily Mail.
The publication has reported that cast members attended Freeman’s leaving party at The Wellington Pub in Borehamwood over the weekend, after the actor finished filming his final scenes.

Among the cast members photographed and reported to be in attendance were Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Fowler), Aaliyah James (Avant Nandra-Hart) and Charlie Suff (Johnny Carter).
Digital Spy reached out to EastEnders for confirmation of Freeman’s exit, but the soap declined to comment.
Viewers will know that Sonia Fowler is currently on trial for the murder of Reiss’ wife Debbie, who was actually murdered by Reiss.

Recently asked if her character could cope with being sent down for a crime she didn’t commit, Cassidy replied: “No, I don’t think she could. I also don’t think she could cope with giving birth in prison and looking after her baby in prison or having the baby and then the child being taken away from her. It would be her worst nightmare.”
Back in November, Bianca discovered that Debbie was murdered by Reiss, who has since been keeping Bianca prisoner in a soundproofed lock-up.
“Sonia is so upset that Bianca hasn’t turned up to court. She keeps saying, ‘Where’s my sister? Where’s my sister?’ She’s really hurt,” said Cassidy. “Sonia’s daughter isn’t there and her mum isn’t there, so she was counting on her sister to be there for her and she isn’t.”
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
