Elle King and Dan Tooker
Singer Elle King and tattoo artist Dan Tooker have rekindled their relationship, putting their differences aside for their 3-year-old son, Lucky. In an interview with People published on September 18, King, 35, shared that the couple is giving their relationship another try after their initial split.
“We’re back together,” King confirmed, explaining that their son played a major role in their decision to reunite. “He’s brought me and his dad back together just because, what are we doing? We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here.”
Fresh Start
King and Tooker started dating in 2019 and got engaged the following year. Their journey to parenthood wasn’t easy, as King experienced multiple miscarriages before giving birth to their son in 2021. Despite the joy of welcoming their “rainbow baby,” the couple faced challenges that led to a separation. In May 2023, King sparked the split by wearing a jacket with the word “single” on it at the Stagecoach Festival.
However, the couple has since reconciled, with King expressing optimism about their future. “We just bought a gorgeous new house in the mountains of Nashville,” she shared, adding that she feels happy and content—a rare feeling for her in recent years.
Rocky Road to Love
King’s relationship history includes ups and downs. Before Tooker, she was married to Andrew Ferguson in 2016, but the marriage ended in 2017 after allegations of domestic violence. King later called Ferguson the “greatest love” of her life, but they ultimately parted ways for good.
With a renewed focus on family, King and Tooker are ready to start fresh. King is committed to putting all her energy into building a happy home with Tooker and their son.
