Emma Stone has rocked up to the SNL 50 50th Anniversary Special prepared to settle in for the big show – with snacks at the ready.
The Oscar winner walked the red carpet of the event with her husband and former SNL writer Dave McCary in a stunning red halterneck dress.
The crimson gown flowed to the floor in a stunning silhouette, but one detail stole the show.

Stone paired the statement dress with a red and white stiped box of popcorn.
And yes, of course, the dress had pockets – an underrated and much-loved dress accessory – which Stone filled to the brim with popcorn ready for her to munch on throughout the show.
She snacked on her BYO treat as she and McCary posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Alongside the tasty accessory, Stone paired the look with matching red heels, a bold lip and her new pixie cut hairstyle.
Stone and McCary are in attendance to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the popular sketch show which first aired in 1975 and has since featured countless celebrities. Stone herself has appeared as a host of the show five times making her a member of the prestigious Five-Timers Club.
The exclusive group includes stars who have hosted the popular show five times or more and includes other iconic names including Steve Martin, Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore, Tom Hanks and more.
For the esteemed anniversary special, Stone and McCary are returning to the very place their love story began.
It was SNL that brought the pair together almost ten years ago. The couple first met in 2016 when Stone starred in the sketch Wells for Boys which McCary directed.

Three years later the pair announced their engagement in December 2019 and it was later confirmed to People that there were married in 2020. They welcomed their now three-year-old daughter, Louise Jean in 2021.
Stone and McCary are among a star-studded guest list for the much-anticipated event.
Blake Lively, Scarlet Johansson, Meryl Streep, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, Cher, Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell are among the many famous faces in attendance.
