Finally, some good news: Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to the big screen! The even better news? My favorite wellness-loving white lady is entering her voluntary comeback era alongside Hollywood darling Timothée Chalamet in a film directed by a Safdie brother (Uncut Gems) for A24. It doesn’t get splashier than that.
The movie is called Marty Supreme, and if you thought that Goop was acting as Timmy’s mother, meet me in 2025 and think again. Gwyneth is playing the love interest of Timothée’s titular role, Marty Reisman, loosely based on a ping-pong player. But according to Gwyneth, playtime doesn’t end on the court, because the sex scenes in Marty Supreme are just as spicy as the viral BTS shot of their character’s makeout made it seem.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet’s sex scenes in Marty Supreme have me giggling and biting my lip already. Here’s everything she’s revealed about them.

This movie has a lot of sex
“I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie. There’s a lot — a lot,” Gwyneth told Vanity Fair in March 2025 when asked about the movie kiss, captured by the paparazzi back in October. Basically, Gwen was letting the world know that kiss was just the tip… of the iceberg. Okay, I’m sat!
Her character tries a lot of sex positions
Gwyneth also told VF that her character dives into “beyond” a lot of “vulnerable sex positions” with Marty Reisman.
The sex in Marty Supreme is transactional
Though there’s very little known about the movie’s plot just yet, Goop divulged she plays, “This woman who is married to someone who is in the Ping-Pong mafia” and has had “a pretty tough life.” The mob wife’s affair with Marty Reisman “breathes life back into her, but” and there’s a big but, “it’s kind of transactional for them both.” Soooo, G and T are matching each other’s freak but not in love, got it!
Gwyneth Paltrow Comments On Intimacy Coordinators
Before this movie, Gwyneth had never worked with an intimacy coordinator before. So, unsurprisingly, when said coordinator checked she was okay with a certain position on set, Gwyneth was jokingly feeling like, “Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.”
Together, Timothée and Gwyneth made the decision to tell their coordinator, “I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back” during their simulated sex scenes because “if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that.” Still, Gwen acknowledged that she didn’t “know how it is for kids who are starting out” and is hopeful the changes from the Me Too era are helping actors.
Gwyneth Paltrow On Her Age Difference With Timothée Chalamet
LOL, GP gave zero fucks. In her Vanity Fair interview, she casually joked, “Okay, great. I’m 109 years old. You’re 14,” of their age difference amid the sex scenes.
Gwyneth Paltrow called Timothée Chalamet a sex symbol
Actually, to be specific, the Oscar winner called the Oscar hopeful “a thinking man’s sex symbol,” which is pretty high praise. She also called Timmy “a fun partner” throughout their spicy sex scenes while taking his work “very seriously.”
