Gypsy Rose Blanchard
Transformation Journey
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was recently released from prison after serving time for her role in the murder of her mother, has revealed that she is undergoing cosmetic surgery as part of a “personal transformation journey.”
In a statement published on April 4th, Gypsy said, “I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently, and that includes a physical one too. Wish me luck with my surgery, and watch the whole thing this summer on ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup.'”
Upcoming Rhinoplasty
While she admits to being nervous about going under the knife, Gypsy’s close friend Nadia Visor explains that she is looking forward to having a “more feminine-looking nose.” Visor stated, “She just wants to fix it up.”
Visor also pushed back on criticism Gypsy has faced over her recent decisions, saying, “People need to let her live, let her experience. If they know that she’s doing something good or wrong, let her experience that, and let her learn from it. I feel like, in a way, people are still trying to control her.”
Separation from Husband
Gypsy’s upcoming surgery isn’t the only significant life change she’s making. On March 28th, the 32-year-old announced in a private Facebook post that she and her husband of more than a year, Ryan Anderson, have separated.
In the post, Gypsy wrote, “Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart right now. I need time to let myself find who I am.”
Gypsy and Ryan tied the knot in a jailhouse ceremony in July 2022. The breakup news came three months after Gypsy Rose was released from a correctional center in Missouri after serving more than eight years in prison, or 85% of her 10-year sentence, for plotting to murder her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, with her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn in 2015.
