Christina Haack, the HGTV star best known for Flip or Flop and her latest series Flip Off, recently dropped a bombshell while appearing on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live: she’s been approached “informally” about joining the cast of Bravo’s hit reality show The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC).
When asked if Bravo had made any official overtures about casting her, Christina Haack confirmed she’d been contacted, but not in a formal capacity. “Informally, yes,” she said. It’s not a surprise, considering Haack’s public persona and her established friendship with RHOC star Heather Dubrow. Still, the 41-year-old isn’t sure if her personality meshes with the show’s notorious penchant for explosive conflicts.
“I actually don’t think I would be that good on it because I’m really not into girl drama,” Christina Haack admitted. “I feel like it’d be so boring because I really don’t care.”
Despite her reservations, Haack was quick to entertain the thought of joining the drama-filled world of the Housewives when Jeff Lewis jokingly suggested the RHOC cast might “gang up” on her. “That’d be kind of fun,” she said with a mischievous smile. “I don’t really mind the ganging up.” Could she be looking for a new kind of challenge? Or maybe she just has a unique way of dealing with reality TV drama?
Adding another layer to the conversation, Haack’s boyfriend, Chris LaRocca, chimed in with his thoughts. He didn’t shy away from supporting her potential RHOC stint. “I think she has a very interesting life,” he said, praising Haack’s vibrant and often dramatic personal journey. “She’d be great on the show.”
While the word “interesting” doesn’t always translate to “drama,” Haack has lived through her fair share of it. From her whirlwind relationship with Tarek El Moussa, which played out on Flip or Flop, to the ongoing dynamics with her ex and his current wife, Heather El Moussa, Haack has navigated the public eye in ways many can only imagine. Her life, both professionally and personally, has been a roller coaster, full of highs, lows, and, yes, some serious drama.

For now, it seems Christina Haack is playing coy about RHOC, but with her larger-than-life persona and willingness to dive into new projects, it’s clear she’s no stranger to the spotlight.
