Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke are not well, b*tch. Their feud is longstanding, often popping up on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at random. However, Season 14 has brought out the worst in these women. And now, many of us wish to hurl our late-night snacks at our televisions as we continue to hate-watch this mess.
But if you watch this season through an unbiased filter, both their frustrations make sense. You see, Dorit and Sutton have walked through fires in their personal lives. Sadly, their lingering ashes continue triggering them at random, as traumatic events tend to do. So, when one goes low, touching on an assumed state using a past (or present) issue, the other is now hitting lower.
As Season 14 progresses, it is becoming hard to pick a side. Both sides are guilty. And both sides need to let the mouse go. Let me explain.
Sutton Stracke cut Dorit Kemsley off because production asked her to
In Episode 9, Dorit shared a sad narrative with her cast. Her son is starting to ask if she and PK Kemsley are divorcing, and his innocent questions are (understandably) hurting Dorit. But as the women responded with sympathy, Sutton interjected, reminding the cast that they needed to wrap this conversation up because they had a long trek ahead of them that day.
On the After Show, Dorit called out her insensitivity. Sutton, however, explained that she regrets nothing. Then, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sutton further explained her lack of remorse, citing production for this entire mess in the first place.
Sutton broke the fourth wall, explaining that she “was told to do that because we had to leave. We had been there awhile,” Sutton said, noting that production needed her assistance to keep their crews on schedule.
To her credit, Sutton also acknowledged that she carried out this task poorly. However, they had a two-hour drive ahead of them, so she had to clock in as asked. While this felt like a low blow tossed at Dorit, faulting Sutton for anything, minus her awkwardness, is difficult.
Last season, Kyle Richards insinuated that Sutton might have a drinking problem. In Season 14, Kyle has other fish to fry, and by fish, we mean Dorit, as they are also now on the outs. However, Dorit took her Season 13 assumption and is now using it as her ace card against Sutton in Season 14.
Alcohol consumption is a sticky subject matter. Labeling someone as an alcoholic is even trickier. If this label fits, the hope is that the wearer might seek help before a life-changing event transpires, such as a DUI or worse.
But Dorit is launching alcohol-related jabs at Sutton left and right. When Sutton attended a party at her house, Dorit had alcohol-infused drinks on tap. Sutton had one, but Dorit called it out.
Sutton retaliated by calling Dorit a b*tch. But as Sutton explained, “Dorit has never apologized for perpetuating a rumor or a myth that I have some sort of drinking problem.” The cameras then showed flashbacks from Season 13 to now, showing Dorit gossiping about Sutton and her alleged addictions as their cameras were rolling.
Instead of realizing she might have overstepped, Dorit clung to the name Sutton called her. It was almost as if Dorit found this cut far more dangerous than her rye-related, reputation-ruining razorblade, which, no.
Dorit went low.

Only one episode after this disastrous party transpired, the cast regathered for a caviar party. Still raw, Sutton ordered water. She then sat next to Dorit, who pointed out her order. Annoyed, Sutton sighed, asking the room if it was okay if she drank.
Once again shocked, Dorit called out this reaction, not her words that caused it. Therefore, Sutton reminded Dorit that her repeated narrative was unfounded and harmful. But then, Sutton snapped.
Sutton thinks Dorit is living beyond her means. With a possible divorce looming and a pre-foreclosure notice on her home, Dorit has 99 problems, and yes, her finances are (more than) one. Sutton knows this. So when she snapped, she skipped right to the shady side of the street to throw this narrative back at Dorit.
“You picked at me. And I’m sorry, [but] you need to pick on somebody else whose wallet fits,” Sutton argued. In her confessional, Dorit stressed, “Just because she thinks that her ex-husband dropped a big pocketbook in her lap, it gives her license to be such a f*cking c*nt.”
Sutton went low as well.

Dorit and Sutton are tired of each other. We get it. Friendships take work, but neither party is interested in taking on another job. So here we are, divided on who we fault the most for this mess.
An entire thread exists on this debate on Reddit, where many viewers are chiming in to call Dorit and Sutton out for their Season 14 behaviors. They are both in the wrong, they stress. However, these fans also noted that Dorit needs to chill with her alcohol and meds-styled accusations.
The cast of Season 14 joins us in the confusion. Garcelle Beauvais sides with Sutton while Bozoma Saint John stays riding for Dorit. The rest are doing their best to understand both sides, jumping in as needed to try and steer their feuds back to a place of peace.
On Watch What Happens Live, newbie Jennifer Tilly even argued that editing came into play, as Sutton wore a stricken face when calling out Dorit over her finances. Nevertheless, “It was a terrible thing to say, and [Sutton] admitted it,” Jennifer said.
Jennifer also revealed that Sutton considered giving Dorit her expensive handbag as an apology. Dorit, take that bag and run, girlie. But on your way, make a pitstop at a mediator because we are tired of dealing with this equally tiring back-and-forth narrative on RHOBH.
