It’s hard to believe that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, was once a bona fide reality TV star. His show, The Apprentice, was must-see TV. And now fans of the series can rejoice as all seven seasons are available for streaming on Amazon Prime. This is also welcome news for Trump, as the streaming deal will more than likely garner him some royalties. However, the hit show wasn’t without some alleged controversy.
The Apprentice was a reality TV hit for Donald Trump

It’s time to get ready for a trip down memory lane to watch The Donald judge contestants once again. It was a much simpler time, where we watched Omarosa become one of the most infamous reality TV villains.
For those who don’t recall, The Apprentice featured 16 contestants who battled it out for a job with Trump and a $250,000 salary. Trump would then cut someone from the show by announcing his infamous catchphrase, “You’re fired!”
Fortune reported that this is “the first time the show has been on a streaming service.” They also added that “Trump will likely benefit from the airing financially.” It also doesn’t hurt that Trump was an executive producer.
Trump said in a recent press release, “I look forward to watching this show myself – such great memories, and so much fun. But most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!”
However, there was some alleged controversy on the series. Fortune reported that a former producer on the show, Bill Pruitt, wrote about some of the alleged behind-the-scenes drama for Slate.
He claimed, “We scammed. We swindled. Nobody heard the racist and misogynistic comments or saw the alleged cheating, the bluffing, or his hair taking off in the wind.”
Perhaps The Celebrity Apprentice will be added next. Bravolebs such as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Brandi Glanville were on the show. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice also joined and called Trump broke. Oop.
The Apprentice is streaming on Amazon Prime.
