Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton are both friends of the cast on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Unlike many others, Jennifer isn’t in awe of Kathy, but she does find her amusing.
On Bravo’s RHOBH After Show, the Academy Award nominee shared some thoughts about Kathy and her quirkiness.
Is RHOBH’s Kathy Hilton the “big boss” of Beverly Hills?
Following Season 14, Episode 14, Jennifer shared her feelings about Mrs. Hilton on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “I find this narrative hysterical that Kathy is the big boss of Beverly Hills and everybody, like, genuflects in front of Kathy because they want to get invited to her parties,” she chuckled. “She has so many parties!”
Kathy’s star-studded Christmas parties are legendary. In fact, she doesn’t just throw one Christmas party. She has such a long list of people she wants to include that she holds multiple parties on multiple dates. Her guest list includes friends, family, Bravolebrities and celebrities.
Kathy starts in November with a holiday pajama party, benefitting non-profit animal rescue organizations. In 2024, her sister Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, and Erika Jayne were all in attendance.
In December, she traditionally throws a bigger, more extravagant party in conjunction with DIRECTV that benefits the Ronald McDonald House charities.
Kathy still had her Christmas tree up as of early this month. On March 3, she posted a video to her Instagram of her standing in front of the fully decorated tree. When her daughter Nicky commented that it was a little late for holiday decor, Kathy responded, “Nicky, every day’s a holiday. You know I love to celebrate.”
Kathy may not be the Big Boss of Beverly Hills, but she might just be the Queen of Christmas.
