Kanye West dropped by talent agent as Isla Fisher labels him a ‘monster’ for antisemitic acts

Kanye West has been dropped by his talent agent.

That’s according to Daniel McCartney himself, with the 33&West musical agent taking to his Instagram Story this week to issue a statement confirming the move with “peace and love to all.”

“Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,” McCartney’s short missive read.

It comes after the 47-year-old Heartless rapper posted antisemitic rants to X, formerly Twitter, riddled with slurs and praise for Adolf Hitler.

Further posts shared to West’s X account included an admission to previously hitting women, and a defence of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is in jail awaiting trial for several federal sex crimes, which Combs denies and has pleaded not guilty to.

West – whose legal name is Ye – also claimed on X antisemitism is “just some bulls–t Jewish people made up” and wrote he was “never apologising for my Jewish comments”.

His recent remarks – and the fact he reworked his Yeezy.com store to sell a white T-shirt emblazoned with a swastika – have sparked outrage online, with Australian actress Isla Fisher branding West a “monster” on social media as a result.

Writing over a screenshot of West’s swastika T-shirt, Fisher said: “Hey friends, can you please unfollow Kanye? Did you know this is the only thing for sale on his website after placing a Super Bowl commercial?”

“F–k this monster forever,” Fisher, who converted to Judaism before her 2010 wedding to estranged husband Sacha Baron Cohen, continued. “No tolerance for this s–t.”

As of Monday (Tuesday in Australia), West’s X account had been deactivated.

When trying to access West’s profile page, a message comes up instead reading: “This account doesn’t exist.”

It’s unclear if West deactivated his own account or if he was removed from the Elon Musk-owned platform, which he was previously banned from in 2022 after a series of antisemitic rants.

As a result of his 2022 remarks, he lost brand deals with Gap, Balenciaga and Adidas.

In December 2023, he issued an apology to the Jewish community in Hebrew for comments he had made two weeks prior, where he made insidious insinuations about Jewish influence and compared himself to Jesus Christ and Hitler.

“I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions,” West wrote in a statement.

“It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he said at the time.

It’s been an eventful week for West, who made headlines earlier this month with his red carpet appearance at the Grammys.

West, dressed in all black, walked the red carpet with his Australian wife Bianca Censori, who dropped her fur coat in front of the cameras to reveal a nearly nude dress.

Days later, West went on The Download podcast and claimed he had previously been misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder and is instead autistic.

“I went to this doctor … My wife took me to do that because she said, ‘Something about your personality doesn’t feel like it’s bipolar, I’ve seen bipolar before.’ And I’ve come to find that it’s really a case of autism that I have,” West told host Justin Laboy.

“Autism takes you to a Rain Man thing,” West claimed.

“When people tell you to not do it, you just get on that one point. And that’s my problem,” West said on the podcast.

He added: ”When fans tell me to do my album a certain way, I’ll do it the opposite way.”

The Can’t Tell Me Nothing rapper then referenced people close to him, saying, ”It’s so difficult for them, because this is like a grown man – you can’t take control of his bank account, you can’t control what I’m saying on Twitter.”
