The consequences of Kanye West‘s X (formerly Twitter) tirade may not be in favor of the rapper. A few days after West attacked Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s kids during one of his rants, it was reported that the star couple might take legal action against him. A source exclusively revealed to Page Six that the duo found it “shocking” how West spoke about their children in a “vulgar” manner. While they haven’t confirmed seeking the legal route, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, and Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, have reportedly expressed their displeasure over the matter.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are still discussing how they want to handle the Kanye West drama
Kanye West’s tweets have been the center of attention for all the controversial reasons. Earlier this week, the Yeezy founder questioned Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins Rumi and Sir’s mental capacity in an all-caps tweet, where he also used ableist slurs to address the children. Although he initially deleted the tweet, he reshared it the following morning. On Thursday, West once again tweeted a gist of what he had previously written about the couple’s kids.
It looks like Beyoncé and Jay-Z are finally stepping up to address the issue. An insider revealed to Page Six that the couple “will absolutely not stand” for the rapper’s attack since he has “spoken about their children in such a vulgar and offensive manner.” The two are reportedly discussing whether to handle the situation privately or take legal action. The source further revealed that the couple has no plans of addressing this issue publicly as it may bring attention to both the tweet and their children.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z aren’t the only ones offended by Kanye West’s tweets about their children. Previously, a source revealed that Kim Kardashian was “appalled” at the rapper’s use of language in his tweet targeting the twins. Keeping this and her own feud with her ex-husband in mind, the insider said, “Kim has had enough and she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication.”
Moreover, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, seemingly disapproved of the situation after witnessing Kanye West’s attack on her grandchildren. She appeared to shade the rapper with a “corny joke.” She also may have hinted at West’s “ignorance and evil” in the caption, which has since been edited.
