Kardashian Crumbl Cookies Review: All 6 Dessert Options

The second I saw that the Kardashian-Jenner family had teamed up with Crumbl cookies to release six brand new flavors, I knew it was my duty as both a dessert lover and reality TV watcher to try them and rank them from best to worst. And trust me when I say I was pleasantly surprised by the list. Some, like Kylie’s Pink Confetti Sugar Cookie, appealed to me right off the bat, whereas others, like Khloé’s Cookies and Cream Skillet Cookie, didn’t have me that excited until I dove in. Then, of course, there was Kourtney’s infamous Flourless Chocolate Cake, which quickly divided the entire internet. To learn my opinion on it, as well as the other five cookies, keep reading.

When the box of cookies arrived at my door, I knew I was going to eat them in order of age, meaning that Kris’s Classic Yellow Layer Cake was up first. Right off the bat, I knew this one would be a favorite. Not only am I a cake lover, but I am also a frosting fanatic, and the combination of yellow and chocolate here was just perfect. I would have eaten the whole thing if I could have, but alas, I had five other desserts to get through, so I took one last bite and moved on.

Kourtney’s Flourless Chocolate Cake: 2/10

This cake has the entire internet divided due to its dietary considerations and overall flavor profile. Going into it, I was hopeful and really wanted to love it since it was Crumbl’s first-ever gluten-friendly dessert, but from the first bite, I just knew this one wasn’t for me. Not only was it super chocolatey, but it was very dense and almost tasted like a microwaved brownie. To be completely honest here, the best part was the raspberries on top. I feel really bad saying that, but it’s the truth.

Kim’s Snickerdoodle Crumb Cake Cookie: 6.5/10

To be honest, I love snickerdoodle cookies, but for some reason the idea of eating them outside the holiday season seems wrong. Yes, Kim’s cookie was delicious, and yes, I did sneak a few extra bites here and there, but every time I did, I just kept wanting it to be the middle of December, not the middle of April, so for that reason alone I had to give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Khloe’s Cookies and Cream Skillet Cookie: 7/10

Truth be told, I am not a huge chocolate fan. Sometimes, it’s just too rich and overpowering for me. So when I saw how dark and rich Khloe’s cookie looked, I was a bit skeptical. But after a few bites, I was sold. It tasted just like cookies and cream ice cream and was rich without being overpowering. My only complaint was that there wasn’t more frosting on top because that part was delicious.

Kendall’s Cookie Dough Cupcake Cookie: 6/10

I love cookie dough. In fact, sometimes I’ll just buy a tub of it and keep it in my fridge to eat whenever I please, but for some reason, this cookie just didn’t do it for me. Between the cookie dough bite on top, the frosting and the chocolate chunks inside, there was just a lot going on, and I wasn’t a huge fan of it. When I tried each of those aspects individually, they were great, but combined, it was just too much all at once. Sorry Kendall.

Kylie’s Pink Confetti Sugar Cookie: 8/10

When I first saw the Kardashian-Jenner Crumbl cookie line up, this was the one I was the most excited for. I love sugar cookies, I love frosting and I love sprinkles. But after all the chocolate I had just consumed, this one was too sweet at first. However, I came back to it after a couple of hours and fell in love. It was light, easy to eat and the perfect spring sweet treat. I just wish I didn’t have to knock it down two points because of my initial taste test.
