Kim Kardashian exhibited her “Fairy Butt Mother” superpowers in a quirky video for SKIMS adding a fairytale twist to the new ad. She shared the clip on her official Instagram, introducing a parodic take on the age-old tale with her comedy skills in another brilliant marketing idea. The one-of-a-kind advertisement showed Kardashian in a sparkly costume wearing the new collection’s push-up thing body suit, wings, and holding a wand while sporting heels.
At first, the ad video shows a second woman – likely a campaign model – sitting on a yoga mat when Kardashian magically appears in her get-up. The other woman began conversing with the beauty and fashion mogul but primarily complained about the countless things she was already doing for her dream body and life. She then asked the SKIMS founder, “Can’t there just be one thing in life that easy, Kim Kardashian?” who at first denied being Kim but later accepted and claimed she’s also her “Fairy Butt Mother.”
Following this, Kim Kardashian explained the scenario by introducing SKIMS’ new shapewear collection, “The Ultimate Butt” that enhances one’s curves. “Just with a bibbity, butt bitty, boo,” she said while waving her wand at the woman, changing her workout fit into a set from the collection. This almost immediately transformed her body, accenting her features.
Later, similar to the fairytale Kardashian reminded the young woman about what happens at midnight before clarifying that the shapewear won’t disappear. She further joked that “it’s just really later and you should get 8 hours of sleep.”
