Kristie Allsopp has tied the knot to her partner of 21 years, Ben Andersen.
The pair married in a secret ceremony at London’s historic Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair in front of 70 of their closest loved ones.
The 53-year-old Location, Location, Location star and her husband, with whom she has two sons, Bay, 18, and Oscar, 16, kept their upcoming nuptials close to their chests for a specific reason.

Allsopp, who once said she was “happily unmarried,” must have had a change of mind since confessing: “I have no problem being a middle-aged girlfriend with an even older middle-aged boyfriend”.
“I have learnt from the very best, as we live next door to the most famous happily unmarried couple – Richard Curtis and Emma Freud. Richard even jokes that he had to make the film Four Weddings and a Funeral to explain to his mother why he has never married,” she told MailOnline previously.
The bride and groom made the unique decision to inform their wedding guests of their ceremony just three days before it took place. Most thought they were attending Andersen’s 64th birthday.
Allsopp confirmed the happy news via Instagram, revealing in a heartfelt caption that it was “a huge privilege listening to your son give a speech at your wedding”.

“I share a great deal on here and so appreciate all the kind & interesting comments, but I felt our wedding should be private, and luckily on the day it was.
Allsopp added: “Unfortunately it turned out that there was an unseen [paparazzi], so I have released a couple of our own pictures.
“The upside is that at least I get a chance to thank publicly some of the lovely people who worked so hard, at such short notice, to make our wedding pretty special,” she continued.
The television star went on to explain that she wore a gold sequin and tulle Oscar de la Renta gown for her special day, revealing that the fashion house could “put sleeves on a dress I bought in the sale two weeks ago”.

Allsopp also thanked “The Reverend Stephen Coleman and Rosslyn and Richard at The Grosvenor Chapel who made the whole thing happen in the first place.
“To marry in the same church that my parents and grandparents married was always my hope and luckily I already know that we did live happily ever after ❤️,” she concluded.

The Grosvenor Chapel holds close personal significance to Allsopp. In June 2024, it was also the place where a memorial service was held for her late father, Charles Allsopp, 6th Baron Hindlip.
The location was also used for a wedding ceremony in Love Actually between Keira Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s characters.
