The dynamic between Kyle Richards and her sister Kim Richards has been a constant storyline since Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Even though Kim hasn’t been permanently on the show for several years, her impact will never be forgotten. The show currently focuses more on Kyle’s dynamic with her sister Kathy Hilton, but Kim is always a background character.
During the latest RHOBH episode, Kyle recently gave an update on her relationship with Kim. She confided in Dorit Kemsley during the cast trip, which is quite the 180 from how they kicked off Season 14. Unfortunately, she revealed that the three Richards sisters aren’t as close as they used to be.

While in Saint Lucia with the RHOBH cast, Kyle made it clear that Kim is currently doing well, but she didn’t elaborate. However, Dorit noticed that Kyle and Kim hadn’t been together as much as they used to be. “I feel like I haven’t seen the three of you guys together,” Dorit said.
Kyle admitted that her relationship with Kim isn’t as strong as it used to be. “I know, it is nice when we’re all together,” Kyle said. “We’re just not that close, I don’t see her that much, unfortunately.” Kim’s alleged relapse in 2024 might’ve put a strain on their relationship. However, Kyle’s ongoing separation from Mauricio Umansky could have also played a factor. It’s also important to note that Kathy didn’t chime in on her connection with Kim these days, despite being on the trip.
