Lisa Barlow is never one to shy away from speaking her mind. Recently, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star opened up about a few hot topics, including the ongoing drama surrounding her co-stars, her thoughts on Tamra Judge’s possible departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Dorit Kemsley.
In a candid conversation on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Lisa didn’t hold back, offering advice, insights, and some lighthearted jokes as she discussed everything from Dorit Kemsley’s glam team controversy to how Tamra might be feeling amid personal struggles.
Recently, Dorit Kemsley found herself at the center of rumors claiming she hadn’t been paying her glam team. While some may have been quick to judge, Lisa took a practical approach to the situation.
“My advice to Dorit [is] pay your glam team,” Lisa shared. “I think you have to take really good care of the people that, like, work hard for you. Like, I realized it’s gas, daycare for one of my glam team members. I think it’s important to pay them.”
However, Lisa acknowledged that Dorit is facing some challenges in her personal life. “She’s going through a lot,” Lisa said, offering a simple solution for the situation: “Maybe get a document from an attorney that says I will pay you, I owe you, I’m gonna get it taken care of.” Lisa even joked that Dorit could always reach out to her legal team, adding, “I’ll have someone reach out.”
Tamra Judge, another familiar face in the Real Housewives franchise, recently made headlines when she hinted at stepping away from RHOC following her friend Teddi Mellencamp’s brain cancer diagnosis. Lisa expressed understanding of Tamra’s possible decision, recognizing the heavy toll personal matters can have on someone’s mental and emotional health.
“I think she probably needs a little break right now,” Lisa explained. “I think we all get to points where we’re like, ‘Enough. I’m like over everything.’ Especially when you have serious things happening with your best friend. So I think they should give her a little break. Like give her a week off, maybe let her go somewhere tropical, and then resume … She deserves it right now.”
