Lizzo confronts Andy Cohen on exposing her relationship with Myke Wright
Lizzo playfully declared “beef” with Andy Cohen during a recent interview on “Andy Cohen Live.” The 36-year-old rapper said, “You know what, I really got beef with you because the last time we saw each other you f—ing outed me!” Lizzo recalled when the popular host forced her to confirm her romance with her boyfriend during their last on-air chat two years ago.
During an interview on “Radio Andy” in April 2022, Cohen brought up the “mystery man” she was photographed in February that year. The television personality pushed Lizzo to confirm her relationship after he asked if they were “still together.” Cohen admitted he “outed” her while the rapper-singer’s boyfriend, Myke Wright, was “in the room.”
However, Cohen clarified he “did not know” at the time that Wright was Lizzo’s boyfriend. The 56-year-old host added that he “inadvertently” stirred things up. Lizzo said the moment was “so funny” and later explained, “I was in such a weird position because, like, we’re so private.” The singer continued, “But he was there and I was like, ‘I don’t want to say ‘no’ because I don’t want to…” Lizzo stopped before appearing to add “hurt him.”
Following that, Lizzo even gushed over her relationship with Wright now. The artist revealed that they “get better every day.” Lizzo and Wright have continued to attend several events together since making their relationship public. Recently, they appeared loved-up at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this month.
