Love Is Blind and The Traitors are two of the best reality shows on television. Both shows are currently airing and both seasons are equally addictive. While The Traitors features contestants from a wide variety of shows, it has never featured anyone from Love Is Blind. There are several Love Is Blind cast members who would be a great fit for The Traitors. These four in particular would be a ton of fun to watch play in the Scottish Highlands.
Shake Chatterjee
Shake Chatterjee ranks high on the list of Love Is Blind villains. During Season 2, he got engaged to Deepti Vempati after they formed an initial connection in the pods. Shake and Deepti got along at times, however, Shake ignorantly shared with his fellow cast that he wasn’t fully attracted to Deepti. Ultimately, Deepti said no to marrying Shake at the altar before he could give his answer.
Despite his villain status, Shake would be a great fit for The Traitors. Many of The Traitors contestants had somewhat of a villainous reputation during their previous shows. I could see Shake playing a similar game to Tom Sandoval this season, who has surprisingly been a joy to watch. Like Tom, Shake would likely do better as a Faithful. Shake was also featured on House of Villains Season 1, where he ended up placing fifth. While Shake is certainly controversial, his villain persona does make him entertaining to watch at times.
Lydia Velez Gonzalez
Lydia Velez Gonzalez was a standout contestant during Season 5. In the pods, Lydia formed connections with both Milton Johnson and Izzy Zapata, although she later got engaged to Milton. Lydia was drawn into further chaos when she realized her ex Uche Okoroha was also in the pods. Ultimately, despite running into a few difficulties, Lydia and Milton were the only successful couple from Season 5. The couple is still married today and going as strong as ever.
One of the best parts about Love Is Blind Season 5 was Lydia’s infectious personality. Lydia was hilarious but could be serious when necessary. Furthermore, Lydia impressed multiple men in the pods with her intelligence, which is no surprise since she works as a geologist. This could help Lydia play a great game on The Traitors, particularly as a Traitor. It would be interesting to watch Lydia take part in a strategic show, after making her debut on a reality dating show.
AD Smith
AD Smith instantly became a fan favorite during Love Is Blind Season 6. In the pods, AD initially connected with both Clay Gravesande and Matthew Duliba. Matthew later left the pods and AD accepted a proposal from Clay. The couple made it to the altar, where AD said yes. Unfortunately, Clay left AD heartbroken when he decided he wasn’t ready and said no.
After her appearance on Love Is Blind, viewers made it clear that they wanted to see more of AD. Some fans even wanted her to be the next lead of The Bachelorette. While AD has since found love, she could still star in a non-dating show like The Traitors. AD is smart and sociable, which makes her a wonderful fit. I could see AD excelling as a Faithful or a Traitor, as she has the personality for both. We really do need more AD on our screens ASAP!
Leo Braudy
Leo Braudy was a controversial cast member on Love Is Blind Season 7, which of course makes him perfect for The Traitors. During Season 7, Leo made two strong connections in the pods. Leo fell for both Hannah Jiles and Brittany Wisniewski. However, when Hannah expressed that Leo wasn’t her person, he decided to propose to Brittany at the last minute. Leo and Brittany had an awkward reveal and weren’t chosen to continue filming. They later broke up but remained good friends.
While Love Is Blind may not have been the best show for Leo, The Traitors could be. Leo is incredibly smart and strategic, which could help him play a good game as a Traitor. On the other hand, Leo is sociable which could help him to do well as a Faithful. Leo is the ideal contestant for The Traitors, as he is quite unpredictable.
