Love Island fans were already buzzing about 25-year-old bombshell Grace after learning she dated former cast member Joey Essex earlier this year. But in a shocking twist, it has now been revealed that Grace also caught the eye of current contestant Ronnie Vint last year when he liked one of her bikini photos from a trip to Marbella. With connections to Joey and Ronnie, Grace is set to shake up Love Island like never before.
In a teaser clip for the episode airing June 14th, Joey gasps in shock as Grace makes her villa entrance alongside Wil and Tiffany. “Oh my god…I used to see that girl, bruv…that blonde girl,” Joey tells fellow Islander Sean.
His partner Samantha immediately senses the tension, asking, “Do you know her? Did you used to see her?” Joey admits, “Yeah…it’s a long story, man…”
Grace then reveals the juicy details of her fling with Joey: “We met last year in Ibiza, and it’s funny because he’s not my type. We had a bit of a holiday romance. It carried on when we were back home. It was quite intense. We hadn’t seen each other for a few months. It ended a little bit frosty, to be honest, and we’ve not spoken since.”
According to an insider quoted by MailOnline, “Grace was less than impressed by how their relationship ended. There’s some unfinished business between them, and she isn’t going to hold back in expressing how she feels in the villa.”
With her bold entrance and grudge against her former flame, Joey, Grace will surely bring plenty of drama to Love Island this season. But her connection to Ronnie adds even more gasoline to the fire.
Love Island fans may remember Ronnie flirting with Grace’s bikini photo on Instagram while she was on vacation in Marbella last year before he joined the cast. Meanwhile, Tiffany, a 25-year-old HR coordinator from Hertfordshire, has warned, “If there is one thing my fellow Islanders need to know about me, it is that I always get what I want, and I am ready to find love in the Villa, so watch out, boys.”
