Married At First Sight Australia star Ridge Barredo has pulled a prank on his partner Jade Pywell, pretending to propose to her while on holiday.
The couple met during season 11 of the Australian version of the reality show, where they were married upon meeting.
After remaining strong throughout the series, Jade and Ridge chose to remain together at the final commitment ceremony and have been a couple ever since.

Sharing a video to Instagram recently, the couple can be seen enjoying a boat trip at the Great Barrier Reef while wearing wetsuits. “Watch til the end to see the surprise at the GBR,” Ridge captioned the post.
In the video, the Bruno Mars song ‘Marry You’ plays and Ridge gets down on one knee, seemingly to propose to Jade.
After getting down, Ridge then pulls his girlfriend close and proceeds to push her with two hands in to the sea in a prank which has been branded “cruel” by his followers.
Just last year, Ridge hinted that a real marriage was on the horizon for him and Jade as the ceremony on the show isn’t legally binding.

The couple also recently teased that they had become engaged after sharing a picture of a ring on Jade’s hand along with the caption: “Soft launch.”
