MAFS UK star confirms 2025 reunion special

Married at First Sight UK star Adam Nightingale has confirmed another reunion for the 2024 cast.

The reality dating show’s ninth season recently aired its Final Decisions and a first reunion, revealing which couples have stayed together and who decided to go their separate ways.

During a new interview on Instagram with fellow cast member Nathan Campbell for menswear company House of Cavani, Adam revealed that another reunion with this year’s brides and grooms will air in February 2025.

He also confirmed that the special has already been filmed by sharing that he and Nathan wore House of Cavani suits for it.

“We both wore them in the press and we both wore them for the reunion that’s not out yet. That comes out in Feb,” he said.

While nothing has been officially confirmed by E4, previous seasons of MAFS UK have included one-off reunion specials that aired after the respective season finales. These typically see the cast catch up over dinner and reflect on their journeys.

The show’s latest season saw Adam wed careers advisor Polly Sellman, though the pair had plenty of clashes throughout the experiment and ultimately went their separate ways.

The pair had their most explosive row yet during the first reunion, which saw Polly pour a glass of red wine over her ex. During the argument, Adam detailed intimate information about their sex life to the group.

Following backlash from viewers and fellow contestants, Adam took to Instagram to address the argument, claiming that his comments did not come “out of nowhere”.

“I was so drunk, think we all seen the eyes,” he said. “[The] edit made it look like I said the sex comments out of nowhere… but I got accused of using her for sex and leading her on. Holly stuck up for me and said, ‘No, he didn’t, you said you just wanted sex and you’d [have] been happy’, or something along them lines.”

Polly also addressed the incident on Instagram, stating: “I know my truth and I stand in that. No one knows what we’ve been through as much as we do ourselves, but speaking for myself, there was a lot of behaviour that I concealed for weeks and there’s only so much someone can take before they quite literally see red…”

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
