MAFS UK’s Polly confirms she’s no longer friends with Amy after row

Married at First Sight UK‘s Polly Spellman has confirmed she’s no longer friends with Amy Kenyon after their major row.

The friendship that blossomed on the E4 reality show hit the rocks after an argument on WhatsApp (that Amy shared to social media) about Amy’s closeness to Polly’s TV husband Adam Nightingale, which had fans speculating about a potential romance blooming.

After the two threw various accusations at each other, Polly told The Sun their friendship is definitely over.

“No, we’re not [friends], we’re not,” she said. “We were after [the show] but having watched a few things back and seen a few things after, we’ve had some words.

“They haven’t been particularly nice but, again, it’s very amicable. I will say hello when I see her. I’m not the kind of person who will completely snub someone. But that door is closed.”

Polly and Adam’s marriage came to an end after weeks of turbulence, culminating in Polly removing her wedding rings — which went unnoticed by her spouse.

“It’s a f**king joke. You’re boring — it’s the same shit week after week,” she told him. “You are pathetic and a liar. You’ve led me on and you’ve pissed me off — you’re a f**king c**t.”

Amy’s own marriage to Luke Debono crashed and burned, and she made sure he knew it by turning up to their renewal vow ceremony wearing a black veil. She stated she was there to “mourn” their dead relationship.
