The reality star shared a selection of pictures and videos of Diego, her black and white cat, on Instagram today (December 11) and wrote a tribute to her late pet in the caption.
“At 3am this morning I lost the best thing that ever happened to me,” she shared.
“He was due in for scans and tests today as he’s been ill for awhile and tried various different meds but now I will never fully know why he passed. Yesterday they just put him on fluids then at 1am I heard him scream out in agony.

“I took him emergency vet but there wasn’t much they could do so I brought him home and he took his final breath in my arms. You once saved my life Diego, I’m so sorry I couldn’t save yours.”
Sacha expressed her sadness at not pushing to have scans done sooner, or leaving him with her parents after taking the vets’ advice. She also stated that Diego had just started losing weight.
“I will miss spooning you to sleep, and waking up to you giving me morning kisses,” she continued. “I’ll miss that look in your eye when you’d look at me, like I was the best thing since sliced bread!

“Never have I ever met a cat that begs like to beg like a dog, likes showers and gives kisses. You always used to chat back to me too and I’m gonna miss that meow when I’d ask if you love your mommy.”
She concluded her touching posted by wondering if she will ever get over the loss, and heartbreakingly apologised for not being able to do more.
“You’re the love of my life Diego. I’m so so sorry. Mommy loves you so much.”
Back in September, fellow MAFS UK star Janelle Han also shared that her family dog had sadly died.
