Jackson Family

The Jackson family is widely recognized, with legendary figures like Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson rising to fame. However, the Jackson family is much larger, extending beyond the famous siblings. Joe and Katherine Jackson had ten children, most of whom have made a mark in music and entertainment.

Joe and Katherine Jackson’s Story

Joe and Katherine Jackson married in 1949 and welcomed their first child, Maureen “Rebbie” Jackson, in 1950. By 1961, they had nine children. In 1963, Joe formed the iconic Jackson 5, which consisted of five of the six brothers.

Their breakthrough came in 1968 when the Jackson 5 signed with Motown Records. They made history with hit songs like “I Want You Back” and “ABC.” Despite the group’s eventual disbanding, the Jackson family remained in the spotlight, and Michael Jackson pursued a solo career, earning him the title of the “King of Pop.”
