Nicole Kidman has shared a touching tribute to her late parents on what would have been her mother Janelle Ann Kidman’s birthday.
Janelle died in September last year, while her psychologist and academic father Antony Kidman died in Singapore in September 2014.
Nicole, 57, shared a sweet photo of her late parents with her millions of followers on Instagram and said she was “missing Mumma and Papa so much”.
“Missing Mumma and Papa so much on what would have been her birthday today❤️,” she wrote.
Underneath, she received support from fans and some celebrity friends.
“The conversation continues. May her memory be eternal,” Rita Wilson wrote.
“Our hearts are with you today. Happy birthday Momma,” Zoe Saldana wrote.
Elle Fanning added: “Love you Nicole! <3”
Lenny Kravitz, Nicole’s ex, added a red love heart underneath the post.
Last year was also a devastating year for Kidman, who lost her beloved mother Janelle in September.
At the time the actress rushed to leave the 81st Venice Film Festival early to be with her family in Australia.
”The final words my mama said, which I didn’t know were going to be the final words, I was gonna get on a plane and go back and see her, and she said, ‘Maybe wait a minute, because you just need to take care of yourself right now Nicky,”‘ Kidman said during a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning
”So I’m doing that more, and I say that to other people in the world. Particularly women. I think we tend not to care of ourselves.
“We take care of everybody else but the last person is here.”
”My grandmother left me with ‘be happy’ and my mother said ‘take care of yourself.”‘
Talking about motherhood, she added: “And obviously I’m an older mother and I want to be around a long time for my girls... I’m lucky to have them. Taking care of myself means so that I can take care of them.”
Nicole and her sister Antonia issued a statement following the death of their mother, thanking fans and family for their support throughout the difficult time.

Two months ago, the actress dedicated her Palm Springs award for Babygirl to her late mother.
“Thank you for giving me the chance to say this is for my mum,” she said in part of her speech.
“My whole career has been for my mum and my dad, who are not here now.”
