Ah, young Hollywood love. In case you weren’t aware, Sam Nivola, who stars in season 3 of The White Lotus, is dating Olivia Rodrigo’s bestie, Iris Apatow. And I’m guessing they bonded over having famous parents — Iris is of course Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s daughter, and Sam’s parents are actors Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola. (I’m still furious with my parents for not being famous and getting me an acting career.)
Iris just accompanied her BF to the White Lotus season 3 premiere, and he did lots of gushing about their relationship. April 7, 2024 – Sam posts pics of him and Iris in Thailand
Back when he was filming The White Lotus in Thailand, Sam posted black and white photos of Iris and his co-stars, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sarah Catherine Hook. They can be seen chilling on the beach and posing during a boat ride. “The pookinator is looking absolutely FIRE tonight,” Sam playfully captioned the dump.
At the February 11, 2025 season 3 premiere, Sam spoke about Iris visiting him while he was filming. “I brought my girlfriend for a few months, which was amazing,” he told People. “It was so great to have a taste of home because it was 10,000 miles away from home, and it was so nice of her to sacrifice that time to come be with me and I’m incredibly grateful to her.” A sacrifice indeed! It must’ve been very difficult for Iris, exploring Thailand and watching her BF film a hit TV show.

2025 started off with a Gen Z It Couple vacation. (Thank you, Tate McRae, for sharing this info with the world.) Tate posted an Insta dump, featuring photos of the group, which included: her BF, The Kid Laroi, Olivia Rodrigo and her BF, Louis Partridge, and Iris and Sam. It’s unclear where the famous friends and couples traveled, but it seems like they enjoyed a boat ride, some tennis, and delicious-looking food.
