‘Special Forces’ Season 4 Celeb Cast: Jussie Smollett, Kody Brown

Folks, we are about to see something truly historic play out on reality TV, and I have never been more on the edge of my seat: The Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test cast is without a doubt the most unhinged and fascinating group of celebs I’ve ever seen put together for a project. Whoever produces and casts this show… I think I love you. Between the delightfully chaotic mix of Bravo stars, influencers, retired athletes, couples, relatives, a very controversial actor, and the Sister Wives dude, I genuinely have no clue who’s gonna be the most entertaining to watch out of these celeb recruits. Will they make it through the brutal training led by ex-Special Forces operatives? We’ll have to see how this wild social experiment goes.

In a new press release, Fox teased that this season of Special Forces will serve “some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process.” Apparently, these B-listers trained in Morocco and got accustomed to “extreme circumstances of urban warfare.” The release continued, “In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations — just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of ‘no guts, no glory’ — and no glam.’” Although there are relatives and couples, everyone will compete as individuals.

Without further ado, here’s the epic celeb cast of Special Forces season 4.

When Is Special Forces Season 4 Coming Out?

You can catch the season premiere on Fox on September 25! The episodes will air on Fox first, and they’ll be available to stream on Hulu the next day.

Special Forces Season 4 Celeb Cast: Brianna Chickenfry, Jussie Smollett, Kody Brown, & More

Jussie Smollett

First, we gotta talk about the elephant in the room… Jussie Smollett. Yup, the Empire actor who allegedly staged a hate crime against himself, is making his grand return to Fox on Special Forces. In 2020, he was  convicted of five counts of felony disorderly conduct related to filing false reports. He served six days in jail before being released, and the Illinois Supreme Court overturned his conviction in 2024. I’m sure he’ll be very interesting to watch.

Kody Brown

Another standout? Kody Brown, as in the Sister Wives husband! An absolutely insufferable TLC legend. “This was the most exciting experience of an age!” he wrote on Instagram about the show. “Tune in and watch me and my peers suffer! Wanna see me cry? No…like full on sobbing!” Excellent teaser, TBH.

Brianna Chickenfry

Brianna LaPaglia, as in Brianna Chickenfry of Barstool’s BFFs, also took a trip to Morocco to torture herself. (Apparently, the whole Zach Bryan situation wasn’t excruciating enough.) I’m absolutely dying to know how Brianna, a TikToker with a 13k a month NYC apartment, fared.

Brittany Cartwright

Bravo to the Special Forces casting people for securing so many Bravo icons, including Vanderpump Rules‘ and The Valley‘s one and only Miss Brittany Cartwright. Honestly, if she can survive Jax, I’m confident she can survive anything.

Eva Marcille

As if Eva Marcille’s resume wasn’t already stacked enough (America’s Top Model, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, The Young and the Restless, The Real Housewives of Atlanta) she can now add Special Forces season 4 at the top.

Teresa and Gia Giudice

Speaking of Bravo icons… The woman, the myth, the legend, Teresa Giudice also joined the Special Forces cast this season — and she brought along her daughter, Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice! A pretty insane activity to choose for mother-daughter bonding, but to each her own, IG.

Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East

If I competed against my non-existent husband on  Special Forces, I think we’d be getting a divorce by the end, but good for these two: Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson East, and her retired NFL player husband, Andrew East, took on the intense challenges.

Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker

Shawn and Andrew aren’t the only husband-wife duo! Singer Jesse James Decker and former football star Eric Decker are the other couple of the season. Of course, these two aren’t new to reality TV. They had their own E! reality show, Eric & Jessie: Game On, back in 2013.

Mark Estes

Social media sensation Mark Estes is also part of the season 4 crew because naturally, they had to throw in a Montana Boy. (Brianna Chickenfry needed some TikToker company!)

Chanel Iman

It’s not a legit celeb reality TV competition with a supermodel in the mix — enter former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Chanel Iman!

Ravi V. Patel

Ravi V. Patel is no stranger to Fox, but this gig is just a little bit different than his starring roles in the sitcoms, Grandfathered and Animal Control.

Randall Cobb

It’s no surprise there are several NFL players involved in Special Forces (they clearly enjoy being miserable). Randall Cobb played 13 seasons as a wide receiver.

Johnny Manziel

Aaaaand another former NFL star, Johnny Manziel. Considering he won the Heisman Trophy, I’m thinking this guy’s gonna do pretty well on Special Forces.

Christie Pearce Rampone

Something tells me Christie Pearce Rampone, the iconic World Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist, is gonna do just fine! Rooting for her.

Nick Young

Nick Young, otherwise known as “Swaggy P,” is the only former pro basketball player of the bunch.
