Former child star Macaulay Culkin, 42, might have been one of the most recognisable kids on the big screen in the 1990s, but his brother Kieran Culkin is making quite the name for himself now.
Kieran, 40, had a few ’90s credits to his name as a kid – including the little brother in Father of the Bride in 1991 – however his most notable role is as Roman Roy in the hit series Succession.
The actor had a few choice words to say about his older brother’s huge fame at such a young age, admitting he felt sorry for him.
”He was little and having to try to accept that level of fame as reality,” Kieran told Esquire.
“Even at that time, as a kid, I remember thinking, ‘That sucks for him. Poor f—ing guy.'”
After seeing what his brother went through as a child star, Kieran says he was wary of success.
However, luckily for fans of Succession, he still wanted to pursue acting.
“I really wanted to do it, but I didn’t want to be successful at it,” he admitted.
Another Culkin brother, Rory, has also carved out a successful career in Hollywood, appearing in Scream 4 and Waco.
