Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans
Because of the drama and surprising moments the seventh season has offered, we nearly forgot about the romance-heavy social experiment that Love Is Blind is founded on. Given Ashley and Tyler’s paternity issue, Hannah and Nick’s erratic relationship dynamics, and Ramses’s refusal to use a condom with Marissa, we couldn’t help but wonder: Who made it to the altar after the season?
However, Taylor, a renewable energy policy consultant, and Garrett, a quantum physicist, were among the strongest couples. They bonded over their shared love of science and clever banter. Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans bond only deepened when they transitioned from the pods to acting as real-life partners. Even though everything is going well between them, it’s reasonable to ask where their relationship is going in light of everything that has happened this season. We know that inquiring about Taylor and Garrett’s continued relationship is akin to questioning whether love exists. Let’s examine their relationship status and get to the point.
We won’t find out until the finale airs on October 30, but it seems hopeful since Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans made it to the altar. They married on the 13th of the month, which seemed like a good omen since their parents’ wedding dates also landed on the 13th.
Taylor Krause expressed her feelings for her fiancé before the ceremony, saying, “I love everything about Garrett. He’s thoughtful, generous, and kind. I dream of him playing with our kids. … I see us being grandparents together. I see a forever future. I’m just so excited and I’m so happy.”
Garrett said, “I absolutely do,” at the altar before Taylor Krause followed suit and said yes. When asked if love was blind after the wedding, the couple quickly responded, “Love is absolutely blind.”
There was a small problem with Garrett’s ex before the couple said “I do.” He had informed Taylor Krause that he didn’t know how to handle the situation, so he liked the post and didn’t reply when his ex-girlfriend messaged him on Instagram. Before a party with the other cast members of the program, he told his fiancée, “She isn’t anything to me anymore.” He told her before they met up with their castmates, which infuriated Taylor, who had been cheated on in a prior relationship.
Garrett said he did reply to his ex, informing her he was engaged and wished her well, in a conversation with Tyler and Ashley at the party. Garrett responded to Taylor’s outrage that he had purposefully omitted that information from his story by saying, “The point is I should’ve told you.” I ought to have informed you of the circumstances.
Before she met up with her family in San Diego, the circumstances made Taylor question their relationship. “I told you that in order for you to meet my family, I must be at my best. I’m not 200% now. Before she saw the message he sent to his ex, she declared at the time, “I’m not doing any of this if we don’t go see my parents tomorrow.” Although Taylor admitted that she was still “really hurt,” she also said that Garrett’s direct message wasn’t as horrible as she had initially believed.
